What it’s for

If the work is overhead and a ladder means constant up-and-down, a scissor lift keeps your crew and materials on one platform at working height. It’s a go-to machine for low-voltage and above-ceiling work.

Overhead cabling

Pull and dress horizontal cable, install J-hooks and ladder rack, and work cable tray.

Camera & device mounting

Hang cameras, wireless access points, speakers, and sensors at ceiling height.

Ceiling work

Ceiling grid and tile, above-ceiling inspections, and fixture swaps.

Lighting & fixtures

Reach light fixtures, signage, and overhead hardware in finished spaces.

Fit-outs & TI

Tenant improvements where multiple trades need safe access to the ceiling.

Warehouse & facility

High shelving, maintenance, and overhead repairs on slab floors.

Specifications

Exact make, model, and specifications are confirmed with your quote. If you need a number before booking — working height, width for a doorway, or weight for an elevator — call or text and we’ll check the unit for you.

Delivery & pickup

Delivered to your jobsite

Delivery and pickup across Michigan and Ohio. The delivery charge is quoted with your rental based on jobsite location.

Day, week, or 4-week

Rent for a single day, a week, or four weeks. Need to extend? Call or text before your end date.

Tell us your site details

Share the site contact, access hours, and any gate, dock, or elevator limits so drop-off goes smoothly.

Safety & training

Trained operators only

OSHA and ANSI A92 standards require operator training and familiarization for mobile elevating work platforms. The renter is responsible for making sure everyone who runs the lift is trained and authorized.

Before every use

Do a pre-use inspection, check the work area for holes, drop-offs, slopes, and overhead hazards, and follow the manufacturer’s operator manual kept with the machine. Wear the PPE your site requires.

Scissor lift FAQs

How much does it cost to rent the scissor lift?

Call or text 586-255-6424 for current day, week, and 4-week rates. We’ll quote the rental and delivery together for your jobsite.

Do you deliver and pick up?

Yes — anywhere we serve in Michigan and Ohio. Delivery is quoted based on the jobsite location.

Can it be used outdoors?

It depends on the unit’s rating. Many slab scissor lifts are rated for indoor use or have reduced outdoor capacity and wind limits. Tell us about your site and we’ll confirm.

Will it fit through a doorway or in an elevator?

Send us the doorway width, elevator size, and elevator capacity with your request, and we’ll check them against the unit’s width and weight before delivery.

Who is allowed to operate it?

Trained and authorized operators only, per OSHA and ANSI A92 requirements. The renter is responsible for operator training.

Can Titan do the cabling or camera install instead?

Yes. Our construction division handles structured cabling, security cameras, access control, and fiber support. Ask for a bid with your rental request.
